to find an experienced Sales Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established team delivering innovative solutions in the BMS (Building Management Systems)
space. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and strong leadership ability — with experience managing sales pipelines, proposals, and client relationships in complex project environments.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading sales activities across the engineering division, with a focus on smart building and BMS solutions
- Personally managing client relationships, generating opportunities, and delivering high-quality technical proposals
- Overseeing a team of estimators, supporting their output and development
- Working to revenue and profitability targets, with clear KPIs and reporting responsibilities
- Coordinating with technical and project teams to ensure proposal accuracy and client satisfaction
- Maintaining up-to-date reporting via CRM and internal systems
- Representing the business at site visits and client meetings
What We’re Looking For
We're seeking someone who can:
- Demonstrate experience in a similar Sales Manager or senior technical sales role
- Confidently lead sales activity from proposal through to deal closure
- Bring strong knowledge of BMS systems, smart building technologies, and systems integration
- Understand and interpret technical specifications and HVAC drawings
- Support and mentor team members to improve output and engagement
- Communicate effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Use CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office tools proficiently
- Travel across the UK as required
A qualification in engineering, HVAC, or a related discipline (HNC or higher) is preferred.
