IN2-AV are proud to be partnering with a global leader in professional audio and communications technology to recruit a Business Development Manager focused on growing market presence across key verticals such as corporate, education, and enterprise environments .

This is a strategic sales role where you'll take the lead on identifying new client opportunities, creating demand for complex AV and communication solutions, and working closely with technical and sales colleagues to convert interest into long-term business relationships across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Key Responsibilities New Business Development

  • Identify and engage with prospective end customers in key sectors including corporate, higher education, and public institutions
  • Attend trade shows, client events, and industry forums to build pipeline and promote solutions
  • Develop and execute clear strategies to create demand and win new business
Sales Execution
  • Lead initial discovery and qualification conversations, with detailed meeting preparation
  • Present tailored product demos and solutions to address customer needs
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams during opportunity development
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the customer during tender and proposal stages
  • Pass qualified projects to the wider sales team for final negotiation and contracting
Account & Market Development
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders on the customer side, from project owners to technical influencers
  • Understand customer decision-making structures and identify future opportunity pathways
  • Analyze market activity, competitor offerings, and vertical-specific trends to adjust strategies
Customer Support & Internal Coordination
  • Offer consultative input and connect customers with the right technical expertise internally
  • Ensure all opportunity activity and insights are accurately documented in CRM systems
  • Provide regular feedback to internal teams on client and market needs
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in business development, field sales, or solution-based selling , ideally within the AV, unified communications, or pro audio sector
  • Ability to engage with end customers in a consultative manner and uncover project needs
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confidence in handling early-stage opportunity development and technical product demos
  • Organized, self-driven, and able to work independently within a remote, national sales team
  • Proficient in CRM tools and comfortable reporting on pipeline and performance metrics
  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. to attend meetings, events, and client visits
